Sips, Stories & Sanity

host Craig Zabransky prepares for his 2020 Holiday Virtual Wine Tasting Event
Craig Zabransky, your host on the Traveling through Europe with Wine

Selected for this tasting, these handpicked 2020 Holiday Wine selections, explore 6 European Wines from 6 European countries all listed in my 2021 Stay Adventurous Travel Calendar (still available for sale). We will start with whites and work our way across the spectrum with a rose, more reds, and end with a dessert wine.

All you need to do, is purchase them and have them delivered via wired for wine (it usually takes 2-5 days normally) directly to your doorstep and then click play on the video.

Other ideas include taking this list to your local wine store (see a pdf copy for 2020 Holiday Wine List here) and find these or similar bottles. But even if you can’t find these, find “relatives” of these varietals and taste along to appreciate this experience. So, get prepared to learn from me and also learn form others who joined me to ask questions, make comments and experience these six luxurious wines.

Make it a romantic evening out of it. Make it fun for the next family or friends gathering whether in person or virtually. Let’s open up some European wines and invite friends or family to share the holiday spirit(s), the fun, and maybe even the cost of the wines too…. Whatever it takes to travel Europe let's take advantage of this experience.

Through the YouTube video you can expect to learn what the experts think (Decanter, James Suckling, Wine Enthusiast), along with my personal thoughts on each wine. (I certainly have opinions). Also, I’ll share a story, some Culture thru Cuisine from each of the six countries from my travels. Finally I’ll share the image of the country selected from my calendar that represents the country in Europe by Foot.

Who is ready to join me? See my “Ugly Christmas Sweater” (T-Shirt) from my Christmas time recording and let me be your host sand guide traveling (drinking) through Europe. I'll see you on-line.
